Hi everyone,
Welcome to the course. In the first class, we will check to see if your registration in the Mac room is finished. Then I will teach you about the course and about weblogs. If you are able to use the computers we will then sign up with Blogger.com.
Blogging is an exciting way to keep a journal and communicate with your classmates, and also perhaps students at other universities in Kumamoto or even the whole world. It is also a good way to learn a little about computers. Students in the Division of Ecology & Environmental Resources need to become experts with the Mac for their courses later in their university life.
You need to write regularly, but don't be impatient! Probably there will be some technical problems at the beginning of the course and from time to time during the course.
